My day to day role is placement dependant and I rotate placements very 6 months. Primarily the work I do includes building reports/dashboards using various types of data.
I have developed personal and professional skills. I had limited technical experience and did not initially intend to pursue a career in data. However, I now understand SQL and database management skills. Additionally, I know how to build report and provide valuable insight to the end user.
I enjoy my programme and feel supported in my day to day role. My function has culture that encourages the support of apprentices. However, sometimes I feel that the early careers support could be better at times.
The day to day learning is brilliant. However, the university course could provide better tailored work for the workplace and as said previously the early careers support could be better.
I feel supported by my line manager at all times
I feel supported and get enough time in work to complete all of my assignments.
There are some relevant modules but some of the personal skills learning is quite dull/obvious. Additionally, many of the roles are specialist and would benefit other job roles more.
There are many opportunities for social/networking events. Additionally, I am also involved in weekly sports activities.
