  • I extremely enjoy my programme due to the high level of experience I have already gained only 7 months in. I have been given countless opportunities to grow and develop my personnel.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Due to my apprenticeship being less common to the majority of apprenticeships at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, there is less information about the structure for an office based apprenticeship. Due to the different structure of the office environment in comparison to production

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer always gives 100% to make sure I am supported and feel comfortable in my role. There are regular options to catch-up and voice any concerns.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have monthly performance catch-ups to monitor performance and always leave with actions for the following month. I would like to have these more often however I understand why I can't due to the logistics of this.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My training provider always links my work to my coursework - making all work in my course relevant to my day to day role. I have taken learnings from the course to improve the team and teach them about certain topics.

  • Yes there are many opportunities at varying levels of formalities to get involved at work, from networking events to team socials, and out of office sport activities.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They have a strong programme for apprenticeships to ensure maximum development over the course of the apprenticeship. They value the importance of coursework and help connect the dots for less experienced employees in the workfield.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • You have to be determined and hard working, and ready to take on new challenges. It is a fast moving workplace so be prepared to have ad-hoc challenges.
