My day-to-day role includes lots of admin and filing and dealing with client requests and queries about insurance cover they are wishing to purchase.
I have developed soft skills such as my confidence and general communication skills. I have also gained an understanding of insurance and developed more technical skills.
Everyone is incredibly welcoming at the company and the provider of the learning side of the apprenticeship is very supportive of your studies and your role.
Very well organised. There are deadlines in place to make sure you are on track and there are regular catch up sessions with the learning providers to help you in your studies.
LOTS. Everyone is very helpful and welcoming and have never made me feel like a question I have is stupid.
We receive a good amount of support ranging from catch up sessions (1:1) and group revision sessions led by some of the people that work with the training providers.
My understanding of the world mu job is based in (insurance) is definitely greater as a result of the qualification I am working towards.
Within my team at work we do go out relatively frequently, and when I started there were lots of networking events, but as I have been in the job longer this has reduced.
Yes
I feel very supported and successful in my role here and I enjoy what I do.
As corny as it sounds, be yourself. Everyone here is so different and that is something that makes everyday more intteresting.
