Coming to the ASK, and completing various modules including (fitting, electrical, CAD, BIT, aircraft jacking). While also completing 1 day of college per week.
Yes, learnt a variety of new skills in each module whilst thinking about my knowledge, behaviours and skills I have developed.
Everyday it doesn't feel like I am coming to work. I enjoy everyday and the variety of new skills I am taught, as well getting to see the massive company and organisation I am becoming apart of. I can't wait to start my placements next year.
The workshop work is very well structured and organised. However, the college side of my apprenticeship has been rather unorganised at points. Only reason it is marked down to 6 is because of college days.
Anything I imagine could cause me some stress, there is support for. The support is excellent across the board.
Again so much support I cant describe. They are here to support me through every step of my apprenticeship.
Will give me a good base of understanding, for me to further develop when I have finished my apprenticeship.
As a first year apprentice there is less I can do than a more experienced employee or apprentice, but I am looking into becoming a STEM ambassador.
Yes
Amazing opportunities, great working environment, brilliant staff and endless amount of support.
Through yourself at every opportunity you come across.
