Helping in the process of waste infrastructure design in order to move projects forward and improve water systems around the Severn Trent operating region.
100% learnt new skills mainly in CAD design but also project optioneering, health and safety, team working and many other areas.
I enjoy my programme, the balance between University classroom learning and 'on the job' training is very positive and as developed me as an apprentice engineer.
Some delays getting set-up and issues with university systems however the structure of the programme overall is positive.
Employer offers sufficient support allowing me to work on University work during my working hours if I need it and always checking up on me in the workplace.
Sufficient support is there if required.
Most skills learnt from my training are transferable to my workplace and job role.
Yes, plenty of sports teams such as 5-a-side football, social events for teams, apprentices and graduates. Professional events are held internally to network and socialise within the company, events outside the company are also encouraged such as engineering events with professional bodies such as the ICE.
