I work in the business services of Rbs group in a cash centre which processes customers payments to credit them also providing cash to branches around the country and other services.
Yes i would say so up to now as before i was working within the bank i was in retail and the switch was completly new to me including how things are done at the bank and the vase depth of the banks activity and role within the uks businesses today.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship the job roles i do are great , the people are really nice and engaging and overall it feels fantastic to be involved in the bank and an apprentice in such an important company.
I have felt very valued from the first day i started at the bank from my managers and staff and the overall feeling that the bank cares about there staff.
I would not be able to give a very detailed thought about this as my programme as only justr started in the last couple of months but up to now it has been structured and layed out on how my apprenticeship sould plan out by my provider and manager etc.
My apprenticeship has only just started in the last couple of months but up to now the provider has been there when needed and the bootcamp provided at the beginning was useful.
A lot from my manager to my fellow staff they are very supportive of my role and apprenticeship giving me excellent training and support from the start.
Very well plus the added benefits are great.
yes they are up on the Rbs intranet and can be talked about with my managers or hr.
Yes
I would recommend this apprenticeship as Rbs really do care about there staff and want the younger generation to mold and build the bank in the future thats why they are taken on younh apprentices to do so. Also the endless opportunities within the bank and around it in the future can help you build a great career within Rbs if you put in your all and more.
To give all you can and work hard for you and for the fellow staff arounf you as Rbs are big team players, "think outside the bank", ask questions and get involved, dont be afraid to make mistakes but learn from them.
