  • As an Enterprise Security Architect my role involves leading the development and oversight of cybersecurity architecture to ensure it aligns with business goals while aligning to industry standards. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership - Defining the direction and strategy for security domains, ensuring they support long-term cybersecurity objectives. - Risk Management- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks to protect business operations and data integrity. - Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation to align security initiatives with business needs. - Architecture Design & Implementation- Developing and implementing robust cybersecurity architectures that enhance security posture. Driving large-scale cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring they align with organisational goals and industry best practices. -Continuous Improvement- Staying ahead of evolving threats, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to refine security strategies. My role is pivotal in safeguarding Motability Operations’ digital assets while enabling secure business growth.

  • Developed new skills of inclusive leadership and an inquisitive mindset to analysing problems looking at challenges and opportunities, have had a view into horizon scanning, people and places and general financial management

  • I like the hybrid approach to the delivery and learning aspect as there is in person lectures, online classes, group working and on the job training

  • It is very robust with loads of support and compliance check points, the provider has been running this for many years and have many cohorts gone through it that they are continuing to improve it all the time

  • I receive more that needed, my employers, allows me time to dedicate towards my apprenticeship, offers me opportunities for development, makes sure I have what I needed for me to succeed

  • I receive a lot of support from the training provider and they offer drop in sessions and mandatory sessions that are there for support

  • It empowers me with knowledge, skills and behaviours as a senior leader

  • Yes there are ample opportunities to be involved in extra-curricular activities such as team outings based on departments, projects or company wide, different networks within the business are always organising activities for people to get involved based on different interests
