My daily tasks include completing sole trade accounts for review, answering client queries, reviewing tax returns before they get sent out to the client, submitting tax returns, calling HMRC to solve queries we might have and resolving issues with their HMRC account, submitting forms to HMRC regarding different subjects such as Class 2 NI or 64-8's and drafting letter before they get sent to HMRC.
I have leant and developed quite a few different skills. For example doing the apprenticeship has helped me develop my communication skills as when I started I didn't speak a much but I am much more comfortable now and enjoy talking to colleagues and also learning different accounting skills through both AAT and doing work.
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship the team are quite easy to talk to so if I need any help with a job it is quite easy to ask somebody for help. I have also enjoyed working hear for the past 18 months I have never felt like coming into work is a thing to dread or seeing it as a chore as I enjoy my time in the office.
I would say that the programme has been very organised.
I would say that we receive quite a lot of support regarding college work and actual work.
I would say that I received a good amount of support.
It provides me with better knowledge for my job.
I do get involved with social outings with my work.
