I passed my apprenticeship back in January 2024, after starting it in July 2022. It was a Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship, preparing me for my role as a Media Account Executive in Auto Trader's Media Team. My Day-Day is selling, reporting on and optimising Media campaigns for our OEM partners, and building/retaining strong client relationships with both OEM brands and their advertising agencies.
So many skills. I started AutoTrader and my apprenticeship with DBC Training back in July 2022 as a shy 18 year old who was completely new to work ; let alone the world of sales, advertising, media and the automotive industry. Now, I am 21, I love my job and my passion is media and advertising! I have grown so much personally and professionally in that time that it almost seems to much to even touch on!
I really enjoyed my programme. I am based in London and our head office is in Manchester, so I loved travelling up there for learning sessions and to spend time with my cohort across the range of early careers projects I got involved with. I had hybrid sessions with my apprenticeship coach and she taught me all of my course content. I used to really enjoy our sessions and learnt lots.
It was well organised. I had dedicated study time and lots of support from my immediate and wider teams which was really beneficial.
Lots! Early career projects, regular check-ins, events
Lots, right up until my End Point Assesment. She was so supportive and as mentioned, I really enjoyed our sessions together.
Yes
They've been really supportive
