On a day to day basis my role consists of a verity of tasks from solo work to working in a team, this helps me build up my confidence and my experience, these tasks could be removal of old equipment / wiring, wiring of new equipment, and a verity of different things
I have learned a lot of new skills and developed on many as well, Aztec have provided me with whatever I needed to develop these skills, I didn’t know anything electrically before starting my apprenticeship and now I’m very comfortable and confident doing electrical jobs
I enjoy my program very much, both my college and work
My program is very well structured on my work side but the collage side has its limitations
If I needed anything I could go to my employer and get the support I needed
We get somewhat support but there has been a few things where the college didn’t mention anything then ofsted come in and they throw everything at you to do, and material problems but apart from that it’s been good
Through the training provider I get to learn the theory and the reason why we do things and how they work, this helps me on site as rather then just looking at cables I know what they are for and sizes etc
Not that I’m aware of
Yes
I’ve worked for 2 company’s before Aztec and this has by far been the best company, it actually has a structure in place for people and it’s easy to go to anyone if you need help with something
I don’t know
