As an Ad Operations Executive, my day-to-day revolves around maximizing the visibility and performance of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. Each day brings a new set of challenges and opportunities, and it’s rewarding to see how my efforts in content optimisation and advertising have a direct impact on business growth and visibility.
Yes, I’ve developed both new and existing skills. I've become much more proficient with the general day-to-day use of computer software, as well as becoming very proficient in multiple ad servers and Digital marketing software and developing campaign management and data analysis skills.
The Level 3 Digital Marketing apprenticeship was a great way to be introduced to the company and the industry. It was stressful at times, but that was more to do with my time keeping, not setting enough time aside to do my apprenticeship work. The apprenticeship itself was very good and could only be improved by having a more organised provider.
We have changed provider now, however, through no fault of my employer, the provider of the apprenticeship was not the most organised when I did it. We would often have cancelled lessons, and my pathway planner changed 3 times, which stumped my work as they had different ideas on what would be needed in my reports.
Adopstar were very supportive throughout my apprenticeship. The Head of Operations was always available to have a chat about any issues, and the other members of staff had all been through the same apprenticeship I had, so they were all happy to guide me.
Support was good from certain members. However, lessons were cancelled at late notice, and as my pathway planners changed, I became a bit forgotten and then had lots of information and updates all at once.
It gave me a good insight into how our clients work and what their aims/goals were to help me better understand my role in Ad Operations. It is a niche section of Digital Marketing that was not covered in the apprenticeship but the training provided side by side gives you a great advantage
There are awards evenings, charity events, networking events, a 5-a-side football team, and just going to the local pub for a drink on occasion in the summer.
Yes
The team is great, everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and Adopstar is a great place to get into the industry.
Just dive in, it's a great place to be and if you are willing to learn there is so much on offer
