purification sciences and chemistry lab work
developed a better understanding of SFC purification, HPLC purification and synthetic chemistry. Also, NMR interpretation, complex chromatographic methods (biomimetic project).
i enjoy my work environement in both AnP and Chemistry, however in recent months the university side has proved to be quite challenging with minimal communication from my professors and other staff members.
CRL are very well organised when it comes to accomodating for exams and other university coursework, there could be improvements from the university when it comes to these things however.
I have received a lot of positive support from my direct manager, team and apprentice staff.
There has been a consistent delay in receiving feedback from my professors in the chemistry programme which has caused further delays and stress when dealing with my final project. Communcation lines should be improved.
Some modules have proved to aid in my work, however there have been instances where further research has been needed, but as I am still on my Level 5 course I imagine that with further education this will improve.
