My role is to care for the children in my setting and some of the things I do on a day to day basis is supporting them with meal times ,changing there nappies,interacting with pparents and putting out creative activities for the children to help them with there development .
A skill I have learned is talking to new people which has helped me build my confidence . It has helped me with my literacy because I am writing up lots of observations for my key children
I am really enjoying my programme because I get to gain lots of knowledge in childcare and will help with my progression into the career
My programme is really well structured and is very organised . They give me time out to speak to my assessor and helps me with any questions I have on my assignment
I receive a lot of support from my managers they help me with any of my work that I need to get done . They are always open to any questions that I have which he,ps me build my confidence in learning new things
I receive a lot of support from my training provider . They are always giving me work set to do and giving me enough time to complete it . They are helping me when I struggle with any of my questions in my assignments .
I feel like my qualification helps me because it helps me learn what support the children need and on the different ages of there development which helps me with planning activities for the.
At our setting we have a works chiristmas party that everyone is invited to and we have a awards ceremony every year in may.

I would recommend Grandir to a friend because it is a lovely place to work all the staff are friendly and all are passionate in there role ,
Tip I would give is to gain as much knowledge and experience as you can in the job role and to use any advice the other staff give you to help you in your job role
