  • It is pretty well organised and gives some versatility in what placements you would like to do, especially as a cyber apprentice

  • As an employee and apprentice you receive a lot a of support for a wide range of needs you could have

  • They provide me with a general degree in computer science

  • It provides me with some insight into what other computer science roles, available in the business, would undertake in their roles

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • The extra curricular activities are vast and actively encouraged, especially for apprentices. For example there are very frequent STEM Ambassador events set up in collaboration with the company that are available to do.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a very positive place to work, the environment is very friendly and no one is shy to answer your questions. It feels like a large scale friendly team effort to work there.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Be proactive and ask tons of questions, no one faults you for not knowing something and it is much better to ask about a subject then to just go along with it.
