Payroll and Pensions Administrator Review

In my job role we process documents provided by our employees such as a P45 or NSC which contains tax details and other confidential information. We also run payrolls where we pay said employees, and completing the task associated. I also manage their private and auto enrolment/ workplace pensions.

I have learnt how to calculate tax no matter the tax code or salary. All about pension providers and how each work. My Excel skills are 100x better than they previously were, and my overall skills with laptops has improved.

I think my role is great, the team itself which i work with are great people and they want everyone to do well for themselves. The role itself is also great as its taught me a lot

They help me in whatever way i need, having meetings regularly to ensure progress is being made steadily

It allows me to understand not just Umbrella Payroll but UK Payroll as a whole allowing me to use my knowledge of both
