Day-to-Day I am based in my nursery setting, where I am helping other members of staff with running the room. I change nappies, serve lunch, do observations, set up provocations and build relationships with the children and their families. As well as this, I have been trained in safeguarding and am constantly keeping an eye out for any concerns.
Yes, I have learnt a lot in my enrichment session and, first hand, in my nursery.
To a large extent
I think the programme is well structured, where we can still work forwards, even if others are behind. This allows us to progress independently.
Whenever I have a concern or query my teachers and manager are very good at helping me and giving me advice or next steps.
I have received a lot of support from my training provider.
I feel my qualification will help be perform better as I am getting the most up to date knowledge about early years and I am being taught by passionate professionals.
The LEYF apprenticeship team have provided us with opportunities for networking
