I am a steelwork apprentice and my day to day involves coming in doing workshop for 9 hours Monday to Wednesday then having classrooms for Thursday and Friday where we learn other engineering based subjects It is simple and easy to follow and if a problem occurs getting help is quick and easy
My skills in practical activities have improved and so have my problem solving skill and resourcefulness being given limited supplies and tools
I really enjoy the program, I like having something to do practical and learning new skills that I can take anywhere really keeps me excited to learn more.
There are problems with tutor and so unclear subjects
If support is needed a simple trip to the office to ask for assistance it all it takes
If help is needed a tutor will help when available but others may also need help
I am pleased to learn in different places that will help me in others
There are options such as stretch and extention task that you can do
Yes
It is very accommodating
It may be stressful during the interview phase but it will be worth it in the end, you have infinite possibilities once you are in.
