My role is a FOH member at a Table Table, and my job role is ti ensure customers are happy with their food and their service, and it’s to a gold standard. I am doing the level 2 hospitality, food and beverage apprenticeship, this has helped me a lot in my job role.
Since starting my apprenticeship have learned a lot of new skills and techniques which help me with my day to day job when working for Whitbread. Any issues I have on the apprenticeship, I am to go to my amazing lifetime learning mentor Alex, which she tries her best to help fix or come up with a conclusion to fix the solution.
I really enjoy the programme, and when ever I struggle with it, my lifetime learning mentor Alex is always there to help and come up with conclusion. She is also very nice and makes me feel very comfortable, doing this apprenticeship and when having my monthly check ups.
For someone who struggles to stay on task, and understand things without getting confused. This apprenticeship is very well structured and easy to understand what I need to do and when things are due in.
I receive a lot of support from both my employee and my lifetime team mentor, and whenever I need help I am able to ask and recieve.
I receive a lot of support from my lifetime team mentor Alex, she is very helpful and clear when ever I’m struggling and ask for help, or when I’m a little bit behind she is always their to help and encourage me to keep going.
I can see a difference already in my performance of being a FOH team member, due to the apprenticeship. I am more understanding of what actually goes into making a business run successfully and how the impact of what I perform like out front when serving customers can do on the business itself.

I think this company treats each person very well and is willing to help when they struggle. The company is also very good at making sure you feel comfortable and at trying to boost your confidence and make you perform better when at work.
To always have an open mindset of what other advantages the company give you and are willing to help you proceed in the roles within the workplace.
