  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Absolutely, while the apprenticeship doesn't focus on a specific area, it provides the opportunity to explore topics that you might not usually have time to consider in your daily role. This has made it easier to understand the challenges my colleagues face, and I am now better equipped to assist them with their own challenges.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It has been challenging at times, but I was determined to push myself. After settling in and spending a few months in the program, I felt much more comfortable and genuinely enjoy it. Although I initially approached some modules with anxiety, the lectures turned out to be a great experience and were very engaging.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • As much as I need. I tend to block out a day a week from my calendar although it's not always needed and I can return to normal operational duties of needed.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • The university will have things going on at campus and advertise these via email. Our own learning teams will often meet up as relationships have grown stronger over time.
