I am a technical support analyst and it involves getting tickets, calling users and troubleshooting their IT issues. Sometimes to fix these things I have to raise changes to get authorization to do more risky work
I have developed my existing skills and I am continuing to gain new skills. I have improved my time management and troubleshooting skills.
I am enjoying my program as it is getting me practical experience
It is well organised and there is a good timetable. I get monthly training sessions with a trainer and regular catch ups with my coach.
I get regular meeting with my manager and my buddy within work to make sure that my apprenticeship is progressing nicely. I have regular 1-2-1s which also make sure that everything is going well.
I get a lot of support I get a monthly catchup session from my coach where we go over everything and we make sure that everything is progressing. He also helps me with feedback on each of my tasks and areas to improve.
It has helped me in supporting customers and give more information to people.
