I work as an L&D facilitator so my day to day role involves creating training programmes and delivering sessions to a range of colleagues across our business. I conduct learning needs analysis to find the gaps, and develop programmes from these findings.
I've learnt lots of new skills - my critical thinking has definitely improved and I now constantly evaluate the learning we design and how it links to the broader business goals. My data analysis skills have also developed, supporting me to conduct learning needs analysis and analysing feedback.
I really enjoy the programme! The learning style works really well for me, and the content is really relevant to my role! Not only do I enjoy discussing the topics with my programme group, but I can see how to physically apply the learning within my role.
It's very well organised and structured! A timetable of sessions for the whole programme was issued at the very start of the course, along with assignment due dates suggested time frames for each topic.
I receive so much support from my employer. I have regular check-ins with the Early Careers and Apprenticeship Manager to make sure I'm feeling supported and on track. My manager is also a huge support, using my apprenticeship to shape business development goals.
I receive a lot of support from the training provider - I have monthly check-ins with my skills coach and bi-weekly workshops with my lecturer. Both my skills coach and lecturer are always available on email or the phone to contact outside of these.
I feel the qualification is already improving my ability to perform my role. It's broadened my thinking and made me think more critically and strategically in terms of the learning and programmes we offer. It's also made me think about how we can improve.
I always try to attend any professional networking events that I'm able to - whether this is internally or externally. I also attend all of our training days, even if I'm not facilitating, from a networking perspective.

I've have had so much growth and opportunity for development during my time as CEVA, as well as being able to work more flexibly since returning from maternity leave.
Be open minded and ready to progress as there's so much opportunity to learn and develop
