I help clients who want more insight in what their data is telling them. Key aspects of this are verifying and cleansing the data, and setting up dashboards and visualisations. I provide summaries and recommendations based on this, to allow clients to take actions to improve key metrics.
I had experience with databases and basic SQL prior to joining Adopstar, but this was from an accounting background. I've learnt a lot, including advanced SQL, Python and R, and fundamentals for database administration and analysis. Through interacting with customers, I have enhanced my customer experience skills.
It was a great experience that might not have been possible without Adopstar. I learnt a lot about time management through one-on-one support and regular reviews. Balancing work and study was challenging, but ultimately, helped me to grow as an individual.
The programme was well structured, with clear goals and timelines. One module built on another, with a great blend of theoretical and practical learning.
Through my team leader and management at Adopstar, I received a lot of support. I had regular catch ups and one-on-one support that helped me to stay on schedule. Adopstar are also great at making time for apprentices to learn and study.
I received a lot of support from Intequal, including one-on-one sessions when there were no other participants. This allowed us to tailor the learning to my experience and helped me in preparation of my end point assessment.
The things that I learnt allowed me to optimise tasks that I had worked on previously. It made a huge difference in my day to day work. It also gave me confidence in the work I was doing.
Yes, we have a lot of activities available, within and outside working hours. We have charity events, networking events, awards nights and community events. It's great to get to network with other professionals, as well as with the local community.
Yes
Adopstar staff, and as a business, make a point to try to support each other. From socialising together, to working together on a task - I love the teamwork, as well as the importance of each individual. The atmosphere is a lot more enjoyable than I've worked in before. There is a sense of trust and respect between colleagues, and with the company.
Start with the right attitude, be willing to learn and open to others. Most of all though, be yourself!
