  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • When my training provider sets me assignments, these often relate to my role directly. For example I have done assignments around w=good customer service, good business etiquette, organisational development and the roles of people involved in running pension schemes. These I can apply in my day to day role, for example how important it is to actively listen to customers on the phone.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have felt so supported in my role since starting in September and it is never a boring day as there are always different things to do or get involved in. Furthermore, as the pensions industry is constantly changing and has changed over time you are always learning something new.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barnett Waddingham?
  • Read up about the company values and culture make sure to mention these in your CV. During the interview/ assessment day make sure to be confident and try not to be too nervous, it is a very sociable company. Dress nice for your interview and have a think about examples in your life where you have applied the company values/ culture as you can speak about this or will be asked about it.
