I am learning how to become a service charge accountant by helping my colleagues with their work and completing my own tasks. I tick a lot of expenditure, create variance reports and Tennant Statements. I work closely with members of my team because my work affects theirs. I do not have many interactions externally.
I have become more proficient in excel and accounting software from using them to aid my day to day work. I have learned how service charge works and also how to do certain tasks. I have also become more responsible because I know my work affects other peoples.
I enjoy my programme and the people are friendly. My daily tasks are challenging and I am becoming better with them with practice.
It is well organised. I have a good support network and I know where to go for help. I also know what to do and when to do it because the communication is very good.
I receive a lot of support from my employer within my team and there is also support outside my team if any issues arise.
I have a lot of support because there is a meeting every 2 weeks to discuss what we are all struggling with and plenty of resources to help me achieve my goals.
It has taught me key skills and definitions that help me better understand my daily tasks and it will make me more qualified for my role.
There are not but I am open to try some.
Yes
It is a good employer that cares about its employees striving.
I would tell them to work hard and you will be rewarded for it.
