I help support the brokers in the administration of insurance placements. I prepare the slips, send the quotes to clients, send the evidence of cover to the clients, send the policies off for invoicing, and complete any mid-term adjustments in the policy.
I have learnt lots about the insurance industry. I have also developed my corporate skills such as sending emails, project planning and how to interact with clients.
I really enjoy my programme. One of the things I enjoy the most is that we often have meetings/events with the entire cohort which has caused us to become really close, and it enables us to hear about other aspects of the business.
The programme is very well structured. We had a two week induction with the entire cohort, and then we have regular meetings such as the Speaker Series.
I feel very supported on my scheme. I have been assigned a buddy both in my team and within my scheme, so there is lots of people for me to reach out to.
I have regular catch-ups with my coach regarding my qualifications. He is also very reposnsive to my questions via email.
The examinations and coursework that I have completed so far have had a massive impact on my knowledge of the insurance industry. This allows me to perform better in my role.
I am involved in the WTW Netball Team where we play matches against other companies in the insurance industry. There is also a rugby and a football team. There is lots of networking events!
