I am apprentice so i go to university once a week. I also work on reports as well as doing site vist and CPS/ off the job training.
I've learnt a lot such as reporting skill, team work, health and safety, expanded my knowledge on sustainability .
Yes the program is good, but also is quite unorganised as i dont even have a proper mentor as well as when i first arrived we didn't get our laptops till 2 months into our placement as well as our long in we didn't get it until 1 month in.
As i said the organisation of the program lacks and some information hasnt been told to us, but other apprentices are there for you if need.
The support is good from the apprentice side and if you need support from the managers they are wiling to help you.
the let you go to university and also if needed to go to extra classes they give you the time.
Some of the placement will be technical which you will gather the knowledge of how to go about these placements.
I have set up my own football team at TfL however they give very little money towards the teams and for social activities they give no money towards.
