Involved in many projects, learning activities and collaboration with various teams. Attending meetings and workshops to understand business needs. Talking to subject matter experts to understand what they need from a system or process. Also, analysing business processes and identifying where improvements can be made. Use a variety of business tools like Jira and Confluence whilst applying Agile methodology to projects.
I've learnt how to ask the right questions, actively listen, and clearly document requirements. Working on projects has helped me adapt my communication style depending on who I'm speaking with, whether it's technical teams or non-technical stakeholders. Balancing my degree learning with practical work has helped me improve my time management and organisation skills.
I enjoy the variety in the role. The programme offers the flexibility of working in different areas within the business. My team and managers are always willing to offer guidance and the culture encourages learning and growth.
I know what's expected of me at each stage, and there are regular check=ins and reviews that help me stay on track. The university side could be improved as I've yet to find many modules that link closely to the work I'm doing in the workplace.
I receive a good level of support and everyone is approachable and willing to help. This includes a line manager, a mentor, and an early careers adviser who I can turn to for help.
I receive a good level of support from my skills coach at Cranfield university. They are insightful and can answer any questions I may have about the course or the apprenticeship journey.
There are many professional networking events you can attend that are funded by the business if it helps you gain experience and knowledge for your qualification.
