Assist whichever team I am working in with their projects, daily tasks, learn what different departments do.
So many new skills, just being in an office environment means you learn so much about work and different people's careers. I've learned to make reports, write emails to clients, use excel and many other skills.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship, the office environment is so friendly and there are so many opportunities to learn and get involved in fun things and events
The programme is very well organised, we get to spend time with the group of apprentices, we have well planned out rotations in different departments, and one day a week for studying.
Apprentices receive plenty of support, we have buddies that are apprentices in the year above, we have people in our teams we can go to, the early careers team are always there for questions and support.
The training provider is really supportive, there are plenty of workshops/lessons, and there are regular drop-in sessions to aske questions. Also, you can email anytime and almost immediately can join a call with your development person to ask for help.
The qualification gives a lot of time and opportunity to reflect on your role, and also teaches new skills which are very useful for day to day tasks
Yes, there are plenty of employee resource groups which you can join that put on many different events, there is a football team, regular networking events, opportunities to volunteer, and different departments put on their own social events
Yes
I think it's a great place to work, it's so inclusive and every single person I have met has been lovely, there are so many opportunities, I have been trusted to get involved in really exciting tasks, and I feel like I'm constantly learning so much.
Be enthusiastic, you don't need to know everything you just need to be willing to learn.
