  • I work in the compliance sector that deals with non-compliance issue as well as being my teams main administrator. On a daily basis, I manage an email inbox and complete tasks that get allocated to me.

  • IT skills, communication skills, initiation skills, leadership skills, project management skills, to name the least.

  • I enjoy it very much.

  • I personally think that is it is well structured in terms of getting all the support I need to be able to complete daily tasks.

  • When something is taught by the training provider, it might pop up during a meeting or could be a reference to something within my job role. I would then know what it means.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not very much, my job role requires me to work from home most of the time. However, there has been times where we've had social events in the office and I have also been invited to an event on behalf of City and Guilds as an apprentice.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because I enjoy it here and I am pretty sure they would too. Especially because the job role I currently do is really interesting.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to City & Guilds Group?
  • It is okay to not have much experience when applying here, especially for an apprenticeship. You will manage to pick up a lot of transferable skills along the way.
