  • I work with IBM Partners to sell our technology. This can involve working on deals, tender responses, delivering product demonstrations and sales enablement sessions. I also have the opportunity to engage in wider initiatives within the organisation.

  • I've developed technical skills through understanding our product portfolio, and soft skills such as time management, communication, leadership.

  • I have a varied experience and have the chance to work with a variety of teams, so I enjoy it very much.

  • It is well structured and we are given as much support as needed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We have support from our immediate team through mentors and have two managers. One manager focusses on pastoral care and ensures we have a smooth transition into and from the early professional programme.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Our training provider offers us a lot of support. We have a dedicated university mentor and tripartite meetings with both our organisation and our university mentor.

  • I have found it to be relevant to the Partner Technical Sales Specialist role.

  • There are extensive extra-curricular activities and communities in IBM across the base locations.
