My role includes mapping out and modelling the through-life services or products developed by BAE systems. The daily tasks involved are workshop collaboration with subject matter experts, concept modelling against an architectural framework, collecting data for the modelling design tools meta-data, team constructive workshops and requirements mapping.
All skills developed on this course have been new, I had no prior experience of enterprise architecture before joining the business.
I enjoy the work that I have to complete on a daily basis, and working collaboratively with people from across the business.
The programme is well structured and organised.
I receive sufficient support from my employer, having an allocated skills coach within the business to raise issues with and request support from.
Support from training provider can be ok at times, other times the course feels unorganised and feels like we are in a way just expected to get on with it
It has helped in gaining my confidence in delivering presentations which has been transferable during workshops with people across the business
