My role is very flexible and I have worked in all of the teams in the central finance department. This includes the banking, credit control, billings, invoice processing, payments, bank reconciliation teams. Therefore I have had the opportunity to take on many new tasks and interacted with lots of people internally and externally.
I have learned many new skills, for example how to use different accounting software such as MRI. I have also strongly developed previous skills like communication, organisation and my excel skills.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme I have been on as it has set me up for a successful career in finance.
My programme is very well structured. I have four days a week in role and then one dedicated day for my studies, which includes self study and online workshops with a tutor and large group.
I have always received the very best support from every team I have been a part of and always feel like I can ask questions on anything I am unsure about.
I receive a great amount of support from my training provider in the form of the mindful learning platform, online workshops and the one to one calls whenever they are needed for extra support.
The content I have learned whilst studying towards my qualification, with my training provider, has benefited my my performance in my role as I have developed a better understanding of the core aspects of what I do.
There are plenty of extra curricular activities to get involved in, for example quarterly social events and team lunches, sports teams to get involved in and numerous other groups and activities to join in.
