As the Group Head of Health, Safety, and Sustainability at Lucy Group Ltd, I am responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sustainability framework that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives. This involves setting sustainability targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive positive change and add value across our operations.
I am gaining valuable insights into the complexities of Sustainability and Sustainable development. During my assignment work I try and make it pertinent to our business to provide value and gain.
This is a hard but enjoyable program. I have settled into the routine, which I enjoy and look forward to lessons.
We are provided with clear information on the subjects being covered although at times there has been a lack of detail when looking at assignments, which needed clarification.
My employer has ensure I have the time require to complete my studies and provided access to our businesses when required.
I have had regular meetings with my tutor during my tri-party reviews and the module tutors have been at hand to answer questions or run extra sessions.
This is essential for my to develop my role and bring new techniques and thinking in delivering our sustainability policy. My knowledge and confidence continues to grow
Due to the demographic split of our workforce this is difficult but as we run into the summer there are excellent opportunities for business lead social events, which are always enjoyable and well attended.
