I complete bookkeeping, cashflow forecasting, management accounts (monthly and quarterly), vat returns and reviews
Yes I have learnt lots of new skills and learnt how to do management accounts, learnt about new softwares and the main skill I have been able to develop is my time management skills
I enjoy my apprenticeship programme and what I learn from it all
It is well structured but I do feel like it is hard to get my report writing time in within my busy workload and there could be more support for getting this done.
For the college side and learning side of the apprenticeship I feel that I get lots of support however, for the report writing, I feel that the time isn't given during work time. First Intuition run days at the centre where we can have the day to spend writing the reports but the practice says that we are not allowed to attend these.
My training provider goes above and beyond with support. The learning is all brilliant and the materials that are provided are fantastic. They even run days where you can spend the day writing the required apprenticeship reports.
I feel that I have a much wider breadth of knowledge across accountancy which means that I can provide clients with a better service because I have more understanding of all of the areas and not just single, smaller areas of accountancy.
I think there is a football team at our office but I don't get involved in this. We also have team socials every 6 months and we partake in networking events with other businesses in the local area.
Yes
Everyone within the firm is friendly and helpful and proactive which really helps in a workplace. It is a nice environment to work in.
If you know someone who works at Price Bailey already, you can use the referral scheme to get them a bonus sum of money which is a nice benefit.
