    • Providing chemistry expertise to support the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients or intermediates at contract manufacture organisations. Provide technical support for technology transfers, implementation of changes and improvements, and investigation of deviations.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • Yes. I've been given opportunities to develop skills in Lean, Six Sigma, Data Visualisation and Statistical Analysis. I also have developed stakeholder management and understanding of working in a heavily regulated and controlled environment. I'm also on a Level 7 MSc Data Science & Artificial Intelligence apprenticeship.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I enjoy the challenge of my role, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the course content of the apprenticeship. The course is demanding however, requiring significantly more hours beyond the 1 day per week study time.

    • The course is well structured, with good visibility of the course module and assignments.

    • I get given plenty of time to do my course study and opportunities to apply the study into my work.

    • Lecturers are available to answer questions and provide support.
