  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • The apprenticeship was supposed to have us around the business in 6 different roles, which then turned into 2 or 3 due to covid and furlough, along with the mis-planning of the apprenticeship scheme since we were the first group, but I was often fixing bugs within the code/back end of some of the sites and systems.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • A lot of business knowledge, how an office works, a lot of computer knowledge and HTML knowledge which helps me in my current role as an Email Marketing Exec

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • It was great fun and doing it with a bunch of like-minded people really helped

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • Since we were the first group of apprentices, it wasnt the best organised and they fortunately were able to learn a lot in the coming cohorts after myself. Covid and furlough also didnt help this process.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • It was tough since it was in the middle of covid, but they tried supporting as much as they could I suppose

    • The basics definitely helped, but I never was able to really put what I did in the classroom, into my practical role too much.

    • Yes

    • Great place to work, one of the best in the area and plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and adapt.

    • Be confident, show your bright side, dont be shy and give it a shot!
