I create proposals and quotations based off of a clients requirements. I then attend site to complete the requested services. After completing works, I create a detailed report detailing all any findings.
Yes I have developed existing skills and have also learnt new ones. I have developed my time keeping, communication and organisational skills. One skill I have learnt is my report writing skill.
I am really enjoying my programme. The university work is interesting and informative. My workplace is also interesting and flexible.
It is well organised. Each week my university sets out specific tasks for me to complete. The tasks always vary - some weeks it could be a video to watch, some weeks could be a research task.
I receive lots of support from my employer. My colleagues and line manager are always offering their knowledge and always help me with any questions I have about anything.
I receive lots of help from my Apprentice Outcomes Officer. She is friendly and always offers her help and support if I am ever stuck or am unsure of what to do. We have regular update meetings to talk about my progress and what I have learnt.
So far, I think that my training provider does help me perform better in my role. They provide me with resources and knowledge that is useful on a day to day basis.
Yes there are lots of things that my work encourage the staff to attend. There has been small sided football games, pizza lunches, BBQs and tea talks to talk about mental health.
