The apprenticeship has enabled me to further develop skills that I have already had, including finance and people management. It has also allowed me to develop knowledge in areas I have not thus far has exposure to. These include project management, international business, and marketing. Whilst learning in the classroom environment, I have also had the opportunity to utilise the new skills within the work environment.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme. It offers a great balance between academic learning, and application within my current business context. The lecturers are very engaging and supportive, and I have had great support from my colleagues.
Aside from poor management at the commencement of the programme on the academic delivery side, the management of the programme has been effective.
I receive a great dela of support from my employer. They offer advice, knowledge, and flexibility around pinch-point during study periods.
I receive good support from my training provider, largely in the form of a dedicated coach.
I have learned a great deal of new skills whilst on the programme. Certain elements have given me greater confidence in dealing with staff within my team.
My employer encourages me to take part in professional networking meetings, which has helped me build a portfolio of contacts that I can approach for advice.
Yes
I feel valued and supported in my development, whilst being given opportunities to further develop my knowledge and network within the sector.
If you are committed to developing yourself, you will be supported. BUT, you must put the effort in!
