At the start of the day we have catch up call discussing each individuals progress and what task they are working on. My daily tasks consist on working on EGA's that are assigned to me, whilst also supporting team with anything they require.
I have learned new skills, such as intermediate level of excel skills by using short cuts and formulas that make my work more time efficient and easier to do. Furthermore, soft skills through being in contact with the client by asking the support for documentation.
My Programme is very organised and rigorous. The management does a good job answering any queries and telling beforehand what to expect with frequent updates regarding updates and changes.
I received a lot of support from my employer. I have a medical condition which stops me being in office alot. My team understood that and took that into account, therefore they gave me the flexibility to work from home.
I received a lot of support from my training provider, through additional classes, materials and mock exams, while also planning it in a way where we get time to also do extra circular activities and self study.
It gives the theoretical perspective which we learned through are class into to real life scenarios and use what we learn and apply in our work. The qualifications are an integral part for work, as these are used on a daily basis at work.
Yes
I will recommend PwC to my friends as it is a great start to a career and excel with in it as there are multitude of opportunities in the firm that are available. Furthemore, the teams we are part of are very considerate and helpful.
Tips I will advise are understanding what PwC's core values were, as that is the foundation. Understand what kind of work they do and require.
