I am involved in account preparation for partnerships and companies. I mainly assist with P&L sections as well as with Fixed Assets.
I have learnt various new accounting skills as well as improving communication and team working skills.
I enjoy the mix of learning new skills and improving current skills. I also enjoy the mixture of study and practical work.
So far, the order of study has been good as often new exams will contain parts of previous exams, meaning some sections aren't new to me which definitely helps with revision.
My employer and colleagues are always there for support with my work and also emotional support
When I have an issues they are always keen to help me resolve them. They also check in often.
After my first study week I could already see differences in my work. I felt I had a much better understanding as I know could understand the bigger picture.
There are always quarterly social activities. Some of my colleagues also ask if anyone wants to start sports teams.
