Hands on work in audit, accounts and tax starting from an associate performing basic audit work and accounts for clients to an audit senior leading audits and managing a team to get a job done efficiently.
Technical knowledge of audit and accounts is the main skills as well as some knowledge on tax and advisory services. People skills have improved greatly, being communication, leadership, confidence and decision making.
Sometimes can be stressful but overall the programme is a fantastic opportunity to develop yourself.
The structure was very good. Clearly set out and easy to follow as so many have been through the process before.
Employer gives half a day a month for all apprenticeship admin which is fantastic. All colleagues are more than happy to help with any issues regarding the exams or other training.
People around the office are happy to help. Employer gives ample time for college study and exams.
Most of the subject matter is directly applicable to the role.
We have a run club, we play padel and you can quite easily set something up if you wanted to do it. Annual football match.
