my role involves assisting a senior relationship manager with admin tasks, communicating with customers and attending meetings
Every day i learn some thing new whether this is banking knowledge, market or industry knowledge or job based tasks as i have no previous experience in this sector. My admin and customer service skills are vastly approving with the ability to practise these everyday.
I am enjoying the job based learning aspect of my programme especially as i learn best by performing tasks and making any mistakes so this programme is perfect in this sense. The content based learning is also very in depth and informative but still engaging and the tasks are very well explained with lots of support from everyone involved.
My programme has an individual plan of when calls are taking place, when submissions are due and any testing dates this is a great resource to have to be able to plan my time effectively in advance. I have a tracker for my time to ensure i am completing my study times and keeping track of additional learning times and further events are well communicated. this is very organised and convenient for apprentices.
i have an open invitation for communication with the apprentice team available when needed along with specific team support and the providers contacts. This is definitely a sufficient amount of support available but they also provide drop in sessions with multiple people very 2 weeks if anything else is needed.
my provider offers catch up calls frequently, email communications and learning calls as well as revision session calls for any tasks needed and my coach is very dedicated to ensuring we are supported.
my qualifications learning and interactive tasks allow me to better understand my sector and the reasoning for performing the tasks i do as well as any regulations or laws i need to consider when working with customers and colleagues. it provides back ground knowledge i didn't previously have and encourages me to consider where and when this applies to my role.
There is a plethora of extra curricular activities available to me i a currently volunteering with my team for our first community act this year, a part of a technology help group for colleagues and attending networking events in a few weeks. There is always an event or activity to attend should you wish to do this.
Yes
This group cares about employees, the community, the environment and helping all staff not just apprentices thrive and continue to learn to allow them to be their best selves and i have the upmost respect for this
Be yourself and put the most into your application process, they will hire you for you not a false persona.
