My role involves completing various property services in the minerals and waste property sector. This ranges from property management to valuation and consultancy. My role is to assist the wider team in doing this to develop my skills in each of these areas.
I have developed my skills in formal writing and enhanced my knowledge in the property industry and minerals and waste sector.
I enjoy my programme very much, the sector I work in is of genuine interest to me and it’s great to learn more each day.
The structure is well organised with allowing one day per week and my team are good at managing my workload to allow for this each week.
My team are very supportive in my normal work and at providing assistance where they can and when needed to my studying. I am given lots of guidance and opportunities to learn in completing my day to day tasks.
They are always on hand for any queries and the lectures are very useful in covering the content.
My experience so far in my degree has not been extremely useful in completing my job, however this is due to my role in a niche sector. The course is good for teaching a general base of the real estate industry which I can apply to our sector well.
There are sports teams and endless networking events and opportunities, the office is very good at organising social events and regularly host drinks evenings.
