  • Doing audit. Taking charge of sections within FSLI. Worked on a wide range of clients. Feeding back to my seniors about work I have done and any problems that have arised

  • Learning more about how to o specific audit procedures e.g. completeness of revenue, cut off, unrecorded liabilities and being able to act professional with a client

  • Very much enjoy it - it can get stressful at times, but it's very interesting getting to work with a wide range of people and a wide range of clients

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Somewhat decently organised - i feel like i knew the general timeline of everything, and it was structured and organised

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot! I have 2 personal points of contact, many people to talk to that know about the program. We had a meeting at the end of the placement where we talked with the the group leaders and we feedback our experience with the placement, showing they want to improve the program.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of support, i have contacts at the work place in university very helpful - see above answer for further information

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think it does - I can actually see how what I learn in the classroom. I was doing something and I really had to remember what i learnt to apply it in the correct situation

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there was a social activity - a theatre trip. It was really fun

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • You learn and work - a perfect combination. You get a taste of the working world while still being in school. The people are also very nice and helpful!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Get ready to work - you are joining in busy season and some jobs are tougher and have longer hours than others. Get ready!
