Managing and developing a team within a busy aerospace production environment.
I have learnt new and developed my team leader skillset. Coaching and mentoring, developing a team and individuals to meet their full potential. Time management, organisational and interpersonal skills have all been improved which has made my role more rewarding and fulfilling.
I enjoyed learning the new skills and seeing how putting them into practice affected the results and development of the team i manage.
Structure is good, monthly review meetings with Tutor and weekly review meetings with my direct manager to ensure i understand the topics i'm learning and see how i have implemented them.
great support, my direct manager reviews my progress weekly and gives advice and perspective on the results.
monthly review meetings with tutor who is also available via email if needed.
I feel my role is becoming easier to manage my work load due to the skills i have implemented from the apprenticeship.
I do not get involved in any extra-curricular activities as i am busy with my life outside of work. There are lots of extra curricular activities i can take part in if i wish through my companies wellbeing team which hosts regular meet ups and events.
