  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • At the moment this involves going to Furness college to learn about engineering. This involves learning about working to tolerances and learning new skills to help me with my time in the business. It also involves learning about BAE’s policies and behaviours they expect from us

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have learned and developed new skills such as collaboration and communication as I used to be pretty shy and not very talkative but since starting here my confidence has increased massively to the point where I will now voice my opinions

  • I think by getting a job here you have a job for life and it has good incentives/ benefit schemes such as the pay or the ability to buy shares

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • My advice would be to research the company such as its behaviours and how you can apply them to you as when it came to the interview questions this is what they aimed mostly at.
