  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • • Providing advice and guidance to managers on all ER related activities, such as disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management. • Leading on non-transactional Employee Relations case activities (e.g., conduct, performance, grievance and sickness cases). • Leading on weekly People Calls with managers to discuss any HR issues. • Provide coaching and advice in various ER cases, including investigation support, report writing, and absence management. • Partner with operational managers to identify areas of improvement using HR KPI data such as retention. • Acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries. • Coaching and upskilling managers to utilise HRIS platforms – particularly PeopleXD. • Supporting and administering all employee benefit platforms and communicating benefits internally, using systems such as Canva for engaging content.

  • The programme is well planned and my tutor has been nothing short of brilliant. Always available when I need assistance and is a nice friendly face. The content of the programme is set out in a way that's easy to understand.
