I am a procurement apprentice which inbvloves communicating with engineers and suppliers regarding requirements. Tendering these out to suppliers and purchasing the items.
Yes i have learnt new skills which invloive specialist purchasing software. I have learnt how to communicate dirrently depndedent on the auidience.
I enjoy my program. It is very diffrent from day-to-day college life. I feel it is a very good experience to be gained which not may people get the oppertunity of experincing.
I feel very valued at BAE Systems. I am treat as a normal employee rather than and apprentice, i am given the same benefits as all other employees.
The progreamm is generally strucutured and organised well. However, there is room for improvement as always. I feel it is a more beneficial program than other companys.
I recieve support from the training provider on a daily basis, all of my accessors are available via email and telephone. This is good as i feel support is vital to the program.

The salary compares well to other programs run at other companys. I feel it meets the cost of a young person. However, it can prove difficult when travlling long distances.
There are many opportunities available outside work which are sponsered by BAE Systems. We are sent to college on day release on a weekly basis.

I would reccomend BAE Systems for all of the above reasons. I feel it has allowed me to excel to my full protential proving useful for my future career.
I feel the application form needs to be filled out carefully with no erros. And the the interviewee needs to have good knowledge of the company and where they want to be.
