I am a service and repair apprentice. This means I spend time at the academy learning the theory and practical, then I go out on patch with a mentor and put this learning into practice in real life situations
I have learnt many new skills to do with gas engineering and how to service and repair boilers and other appliances, I still have a lot more knowledge to gain and learn throughout the course
I really enjoy my programme and learning about gas, and feel like I have a good support system around me
My programme is very well structured and organised, and the order of learning flows
I receive a lot of support and guidance from my employer
I receive a lot of support, guidance and help when needed
My qualification will allow me to reach my goal and become a qualified gas engineer
There is a football club that anyone can join
Yes
British gas are reliable and provide good training
Be ready to take in a lot of information and keep on top of it and don't allow yourself to get overwhelmed
