I am part of the Critical National Infrastructure team, where I engage in numerous technical discussions, data analysis, and continuous learning of new tools. My role also involves sharing intelligence. We utilize a test SIEM to investigate incidents and develop best practices to safeguard our network infrastructure, critical national infrastructure (CNI), and the people relying on it.
I am acquiring a wide range of new skills, including various coding terminologies and languages, using different software to access data and gather insights, and gaining extensive knowledge in information security and cyber security. Additionally, I am developing skills in presenting and personal development. These experiences have significantly enhanced my technical proficiency, analytical abilities, and overall professional growth, enabling me to contribute more effectively to our team's mission.
I am thoroughly enjoying the program. I am getting to grips with many new topics and am able to apply what I learn in my role. Additionally, I am meeting and working with great people who generously share their knowledge and tips, which is fantastic
I find the program to be very well structured, which has greatly facilitated my learning process. However, it can be challenging to find the time to fit in all the studying. I would appreciate a break in between my lectures.
I have a supportive manager and team which I am happy with.
I receive great support my manager is really focused on helping me gather all the experience needed for the KSBs and wants me to have a fulfilling experience during the apprentice so I can learn as much as possible.
It gives me more confidence and understanding to apply knowledge and get stuck into tasks at work.

Yes
It is inclusive, everyone I have met is really friendly, hardworking and wants to help which is perfect when you're apprentice.
Be yourself, work hard and put yourself forward for things even if its something out of your comfort zone it will be a great learning experience and it makes it easier the more you practice or get used to putting yourself forward. Make as many connections as possible, everyone has different experiences and interesting careers which is really inspiring when you;'re just starting out.
